How We Work

All In: Global Leaders for Ending Gender-Based Violence is a strategic force for accelerating political will, funding, and visibility for GBV prevention. Our approach is bold, collaborative, and laser-focused on impact.

Our Purpose

Increase global leadership and catalyse commitments to implement, scale up and fund gender-based violence prevention strategies; Build global recognition and understanding of the importance of preventing gender-based violence and the evidence on what works, and; Help shift narratives and norms, showing that GBV can be solved and everyone has a vital role to play.

Here’s how we’re driving change

We use our influence to drive action

Our Panel brings together leaders from across sectors, geographies, and lived experiences. Together, we use our collective voices, platforms, and presence to:

  • Champion evidence-based solutions to prevent GBV before it starts
  • Mobilise multi-sectoral commitments, including finances, to end GBV
  • Elevate and create space for the voices and knowledge of those with lived experience, feminist movements and communities most affected

We amplify (not duplicate) existing efforts

Rather than operating in isolation, All In is designed to complement and elevate the work of the broader GBV prevention ecosystem. We work closely with movements, organisations, and allies - reinforcing their efforts through:

  • Clear, actionable advocacy messages, tailored for decision-makers
  • Robust evidence and grassroots knowledge, grounded in what works
  • Strategic alignment, informed by deep consultation with global partners

We believe everyone has a role to play

Gender-based violence is solvable, and ending it requires all of us.

  • Ordinary individuals, can challenge harmful norms, support survivors, hold institutions accountable and model equality in their own homes, schools, workplaces and communities.
  • Governments must enact and enforce laws, fund prevention and embed gender equality across national priorities and systems.
  • Businesses must create safe workplaces, invest in solutions and use their influence to shift culture.
  • With sustained leadership, investment and collaboration across sectors, we can end GBV — which in turn will drive progress across all social, economic and environmental goals.

The Panel is non-partisan and does not engage in political lobbying. Instead, we leverage high-level influence to catalyse commitments, mobilise investment and champion evidence-based solutions for ending gender-based violence.

What we do as Panel members

Our commitments are tangible and accountable. Each member of the Panel agrees to:

What success looks like

We’ll know we’re making a difference when we see:

  • Increased awareness of GBV in all its forms: its harms and solutions
  • Increased government commitments and investments to prioritise and implement evidence-based GBV prevention
  • Increased engagement of men and boys in preventing GBV and more positive and respectful models of masculinity reflected online and offline
  • Integration of prevention across key government sectors like health, education, and transport
  • Increased commitment to GBV prevention across all sectors, such as technology, sport, and the media
  • A shift in narratives and norms to one where equality is expected and GBV is not
  • Ultimately, a measurable reduction in all forms of GBV

Our goal is lasting, systemic change, powered by leadership, backed by evidence, and centred on those most affected.
